Edge to Edge Marathon
Run the official marathon distance between Ucluelet and Tofino. Take on the Challenge of the West Coast! Register early. Check out the website for further details by clicking on the Edge to Edge Marathon link. Registration deadline May 15th, 2006. One of the most challenging courses in the world! Attraction Canada's National winner in 2001 for a sporting event, and one of 3 finalists for the National Event of the Year for the Tourism Industry of Canada.

Cadillac VAN ISLE 360 (Yacht Race)
The yachts will head out of Nanaimo Harbour and continue around the Island stopping at various locations. Once again we look forward to hosting the crews and viewing their spectacular boats. The first international yacht race to circumnavigate Vancouver Island (now in it's fourth year). The start/finish line for this leg of the race can be viewed from Amphitrite Point Lighthouse or from spectator boats.

Jamie's Whaling Station, along with the Ucluelet Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a cruise on the Lady Selkirk from 6pm-9pm on the Thursday before Ukee Days begins. Tickets will be sold at the Ucluelet Chamber for $45. Appy's, drinks, music and door prizes! NO HOST BAR. Must be 19 or older. |
