| Ucluelet Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors meet: February 21, Ucluelet Community Centre, 7 p.m. Our meetings are open to our members; however, participation in discussion is limited to board members only. At the February meeting the Chamber of Commerce will present cheques to three local groups: the Ucluelet Aquarium, the Paula Ross Dance Society and the Pacific Rim Arts Society, from proceeds raised through the Pacific Rim Christmas Gala, which was widely sponsored by local businesses. The Chamber thanks everyone who donated or came out to volunteer for this fantastic event. |

Edge to Edge Marathon: Sunday, June 12, 2011
Official marathon starts in Tofino, goes through the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and ends in Ucluelet. Last year we attracted approximately 900 runners to the west coast this year. VAN ISLE 360 (Yacht Race)
The yachts will head out of Nanaimo Harbour and continue around the Island stopping at various locations. Once again we look forward to hosting the crews and viewing their spectacular boats. The first international yacht race to circumnavigate Vancouver Island (now in it's fourth year). The start/finish line for this leg of the race can be viewed from Amphitrite Point Lighthouse or from spectator boats.
